Things I Love About Fall

Morning & Evening

Workout:
Morning -
* 45 minutes – Spin Class
* Arm workout with 8 pound weights 3 reps of 15; 3 types of exercises

Evening -
* 60 minutes of Zumba Class

Thoughts:
Pretty good morning workout, but I didn’t sweat that much at spin.  I’m glad I finally worked on arms this morning though.  By the time this day is done with me, I might need another workout tonight to work out some stress.  [As expected it was a stressful day, and I ate an obscene amount of peanut butter filled pretzels.  Zumba made me smile because I was laughing at myself, and now I have work emails to deal with again.  Woe is me.  Oh well, hopefully the second workout will somehow cancel out some of the pretzels!]

On a much brighter note, it’s the first official day of fall, my favorite season!  Things I love about fall:

• Bright orange and red leaves
• Crisp air
• Turtlenecks
• Butternut squash soup
• Orange mums
• Everything pumpkin – pumpkin spice latte’s,  pumpkin pie, vegan pumpkin cheese cake, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin protein shakes, pumpkin pancakes, I’m a little obsessed!
• Hot apple cider
• Upstate New York
• Beginnings – Although spring is typically symbolic of “new beginnings,” it’s fall for me.  Perhaps it stems from being the geeky kid with glasses always excited for a new school year to begin.
• Thanksgiving

Great fall list! I love those things too.  You know the acorn caps on the street? I love how if you step on them they make a really satisfying "crunch"!
