BONUS INJURY!
Aggravated nerve on the foot resulting in knee injury after I foolishly ran on it ... and the bonus injury? On Monday, racing around the house to get ready for a trip, I caught my little toe on the wheel of a suitcase and did a "wishbone". Sheared a chunk of the little piggy bone right off. Now I get to wear a post-up boot for the next 4-6 weeks and no running.
I can, however, ride the stationary bike. This is my least favorite piece of gym equipment after everybody's most hated, the Dreadmill, but hey, if that's all I can do right now, it's what I'll do.
And I did. 35 minutes on the bike, followed by some stretching. I have been stagnant for waaaay too long. I'm traveling nonstop this fall and I cannot afford to lose fitness or gain weight. So, come hell or high water, I AM BACK!
