If I Do Another Quarter Turn Up The Bike Pedals Will Lock
Spin instructors usually use a scale of 1-10 when talking about how much resistance you should have on your bike. I like this way. If the instructor wants you to add resistance they will increase the number that they say you should be at. "Start with a resistance of 6. Now turn up your resistance to an 8, like you are on a steep hill." This makes sense to me.
Other instructors will say something like "be at a low resistance" and then keep saying "add a quarter turn up, and another quarter turn up, and another..." when they want to increase resistance. But after the never ending amount of quarter turns there is NO PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE WAY that I could be pedaling in time with the music and would essentially be at a 13 on my scale of 1-10. I do not like this way. It does not make sense to me.

Yeah, I'd like to see some of those instructors keep the pace at the knob-turn they claim to be on.
I'm still be pretty lost on some of the 2.0 "functionality" but I have faith! I think I need to make friends, though. Will you be my friend?
