Workout

d'oh!

I've been so busy I didn't m-log in a while! I guess we might have hit 1,000,000 sooner. Ah well.

I did some yoga for 35 min the other day after a long hiatus, and boy was I sore! It was nice that I could still hold most of the poses, but I definitely realized how much strength I've lost in just two months.

I was on call and the hospital flooded (like, for real), so I was 100% compliant with stairs instead of only 75% compliant. My patient from the 8th floor was in dialysis, or so I thought, so I had walked up from 4th to 8th, only to walk down to 2nd, realize she wasn't there, and then walk to ground, realize my other patient was still there in the ER, and then up to 1 to finally find my first patient in radiology.

and...that's kind of how the day was.

I came home and slept and then FINALLY did 50 min of solid cardio. It's been a while, so I was happy about that.

I'm nervous because my doctor scolded me about my weight. My BMI is 25.8. Of course, my blood pressure and cholesterol are amazing, but I guess he just wants to make sure they can stay that way. I wish residency weren't so bad for my health...
