Pilates Reformer Is Sneaky

I spend 60 minutes in class and do not sweat AT ALL. It's fairly slow paced, the instructor gives us a few seconds to rest between sets and because we keep having to change the settings on the machine we get some time to breathe and recover. I always doubt how much "exercise" I'm really getting.

But then the next day I wake up and cannot get out of bed because my entire body is sore.

1 point for pilates reformer.

I feel the same way about Pilates.  I'm like, really?  Is this working?  And then I ache the next day.

I had the same experience in a very slow anusara yoga class yesterday.  I can barely move today!
