Workout
Argh
So one of the maintenance people had several treadmills blocked off at the gym today to clean them. So I start to get on a not blocked off one and she says "Miss, these are dirty I have to clean them". In my head I'm thinking, o.k. there's no way you're going to clean them all at once, and there's like a zillion of them and I know it will take awhile, so why can't I just do this one and she can clean it when I'm done??" What I said was, I can't just use this one treadmill? No. Then she tries to convince me to use the broken one she's already cleaned. I was like no, I'll just go do something else. So I do the elliptical, which I don't think I've ever done before in my life. It worked my legs REALLY well, but it was also kinda boring. I'd do it again if I had to, but I do like running much more. I did 2 miles in 23:20. I have no concept of if this is good or bad. 23 minutes of cardio has to be at least a little good though right?
Took advantage of the weird work out to just pile on some weight lifting minutes:
5 sets of 22 sit ups on an incline bench. Total 5 minutes
4 sets of 25 lat pull downs using 50 pounds. Total 4 minutes
2 sets of 23 lat pull downs using 55 pounds. Total 2 minutes
I feel like a you-know-what for posting this rant, but its been kind of a "maybe I shouldn't have gotten out of bed" kinda day, and this didn't make me feel any better. P.S. I didn't know what category elliptical minutes go into, so I just put it in "other". My other category thoughts were spinning or running. I have no idea. I think I'm going to bed early. Argh.

On your "shuoldn't have got out of bed" days, you work out more than I do in a couple of days. One day, maybe. But until then, just keep going :).

In retrospect, the workout wasn't terrible, but thinks like cranky people and the kid running my foot over with his scooter were things I could have lived without that day.
