intenSati Warrior Challenge: Day 16 (the spoils of victory)

Thank you!

The Rise & Shine intenSati Warrior Challenge wrapped this morning at 6:30 at Equinox Columbus Circle.  Natalia started us off, Darbi picked up in the middle and Patricia did the wrap-up.  It was a long class ending in a big circle where everyone shared their experience of participating in the challenge.  There were some tears here and there.  Tank tops were passed out and a group photo was composed.  I wound up next to our own Sandella, who threw her arm around me before she even knew who I was (you are like a blast of positive energy, my friend).  After I introduced myself, she was absolutely giddy, as if the endorphins from the workout were not enough.

As I was late to work, my final shower in the cushy women's dressing room at Equinox was far too rushed.  I gave thanks in my head for this opportunity: the celadon shower tile, plush towels, the Keihl's Amino Acid shampoo, the free month at a terrific fitness club, 16 high impact aerobic classes coupled with affirmations that had effectively swept cobwebs from my mind in a month's time.  This has been a fantastic experience, and I feel more focused and have more vision for myself and where I want to go than I have had in quite a while.

I'm available for more / than I've ever had before: / health / wealth / joy / success! / I am grateful; / all my needs are met.

you are such a beautiful writer,  I really enjoy reading your  comments. I would walk into class, thinking now which one is zuzupetals? and how wild was that, I was sitting next to you, finally!! I remember seeing you b4, you were really good in class. I think I even followed you once.. and the tank tops were so worth the challenge... Lululemon donated these soft, beautiful tank tops, lime green, fuscia, and royal blue...  I am glad I finally did this, can't believe i got up at 5:15am to work out at 6:30am... now that I can get up at 6:30am, I can finally clean up my apt!!! I thought of quitting the first week, but I am so proud of myself for staying with it. I really do feel now that I can do anything I set my mind to.

You are so funny.  I agree - the hours for the early classes were brutal (I overslept this morning, too - I have no idea how I managed to get there on time).  It's true: we can do anything if we want it, we want it, we really, really want it!
