Workout
long run, the 2nd.
My 2nd long run in preparation of the Athens Classic Marathon in October, was a 10 mile run through Central Park. I completed it (in Vibrams) in 106 minutes...so just about a 10:30 mile pace. I felt very slow and after a few miles my legs felt like lead. I actually read something about how barefoot / Vibram running involves aboud 2x the muscle exertion as running in regular shoes (hence the fantastic ass/hamstring/calf toning you get)...so, it's actually said that 4 miles in Vibrams is like 8 regular miles. In that case, physicially, I ran about 20 miles yesterday. Who knows if it's true, but I was sore after running...which just never happens.
Total Minutes:
Saturday -
15 minute walk to the park
104 minute run
15 minute walk home
40 minute walk to the bank, dinner and home
40 minutes of uhm...miscellaneous minutes.

Comments
that run was tough yesterday. I think it was because of the heat.

Running in the heat is so difficult, but your speed will improve and when the temperatures drop below 70 you'll find an ease with your pace. Keep it up!
