Workout
i missed you SW!
Well, I am now moved out of Philly and down to DC! I also went on a really lovely vacation that involved a lot of physical activity. I tried to backlog some of it but probably missed a few hundred minutes here and there.
I don't think it's really necessary to log each day as its own workout, so here are some highlights of what kept me so active in the past week:
1. MOVING. 'nuff said.
2. Walking down to Union Station to get up to NY, then travelling out to the lovely San Juan islands off the coast of Washington state for hiking, kayaking, and a quaint little seaside town that's perfect for walking.
3. A visit to Vancouver, which is probably one of the easiest places to navigate with just a simple tear out map from a tourist's guide. I wish we'd had more time there!!!
4. Running on the sea wall in Vancouver. It's really an active city! I didnt' see nearly as many overweight or obese individuals there, which was just something that stuck out after leaving Philadelphia
5. Walking out across the Granville Bridge to the public market on Granville Island
6. Trying to navigate a 50 lb suitcase from Newark airport through the subway system into South Brooklyn
but i am le tired.
