there are still some good samaritans in philly
I lost my blackberry last week in the target parking lot (NOOO). I was obviously not happy about this, and I promptly used my insurance to get a replacement. Randomly over the weekend, I got a phone call (at 1 a.m.) from someone who said they found my phone in a busy intersection and that they'd bring it back for me.
Turns out this really nice nurses' aide was at the pathmark and saw my phone in the middle of the road. Now, how the phone was not completely shattered is a mystery to me and a testament to the Blackberry folks for making such a durable gadget! The back of the phone was missing, but the battery stayed in.
I walked to the Pathmark this a.m. to retrieve my phone from her--at least now I get my data card back and have my SIM card so no one else gets a hold of it. Plus, I get a backup battery...so this worked out pretty well for me even though I had to drop $50 to get a new one.
After that, I walked to Dunkin' Donuts for a coffee and then ran some errands at Target, which was having a great sale on workout clothes. YAY for more moisture wicking shirts :)
Back to packing.
