Oh, Ariane, how I missed your donkey-kicks! Today was the first time I did the Brooklyn Bridge Bootcamp in awesome weather and it was absolutely fantastic! It was also great to have Twinklefee there! Yay for SOCIAL workouts! Bootcamp was killer...apparently we did 300 push-ups. Not that I'd remember since I was too busily focused on praying to the heavens to keep my quads working after a trillion sets of squats and squat jumps and lunges and wall-sits and, of course, donkey-kicks. Oh, and we also sprinted up stairs, hopped up the same stairs on one leg (scary!), sprinted parts of the bridge, did a full upper and lower body workout with the resistance bands, and so on. An hour of hard-core sweating, and a walk back to the office later, I'm feeling absolutely delicious. Oh, and the above pic was take during the donkey-kick part of the workout...and yes...it happened in a kinda dark alley off of the bridge. Self-imposed photo challenge: accompli!
Daily Total:
20 minutes walking commute
40 minutes walk at lunch
31 minutes walk from work to bootcamp
60 minutes bootcamp
44 minutes walk from bootcamp back to the office
10 minutes walk to get home
