weekend fitness!
i crossed the 2000 mark this weekend by doing a variety of activities. i am actually not sure i logged all my walking because i forgot about friday. hmm. i may tack on another 20 min.
friday, i did a quick row (4250 in 21:00), then headed out to pick up the b/f
we went out to a lovely dinner downtown, then walked around old city in search of some drinks to celebrate my LAST DAY OF MEDICAL SCHOOL (!!!) and his belated bday. that, of course, led to me not being sober anymore, but he DD'ed and took me to our friends' apt, wherein we had some good laughs all trying to pick each other up. he weighs 135, and our buddy weighs 235, so it was interesting. :)
saturday, we were supposed to go running, but someone did not want to get out of bed, and by the time he did, it had started pouring. oh well. we went to the mall so he could pick out his bday present (new shoes!). king of prussia is easily the biggest mall i've ever been to, and i always get lost...so we walked a bunch. after that we ended up downtown againw with friends and undid all our physical activity with a trip to max brenner *yum*
so today we made up for it with a gym visit. i did 35 min on hills, level 8 on the life fitness and then ran 5 min, after which i started wheezing because (d'oh!) i forgot my inhaler.
now i just have to get him to log his minutes...

Congratulations! I think you're right about the K of P mall being the biggest – second maybe to the monstrosity outside of Minneapolis? There's something to be said for logging mall walking minutes when a mall's that big. Ironically, beyond the mall, I've always thought those western/northern suburbs of Philly are some of the prettiest I've seen (friends in Phoenixville & Spring House) – all those magnificent trees and meandering roads.

yeah, i almost don't think of them as suburbs because they're so lush...and i'm just accustomed to the urban sprawl of fairfax county, VA
