New personal minutes goal for the start of summer

I really like the minutes challenge.  It's very simple, but infinitely flexible and it put me at least in a mind set of not just - do some one thing and get the workout or task checked off, but - what can I creatively do with my day to really extend the time I'm active.  Even with errands and general walking minutes that I'm not logging I find myself adding a block or two here and there, and my workouts (those that I've been able to do while fighting the plague) have focused on longer and more involved time rather than just the maintenance run or single class.

So...since I have the "luxury" of time in the next several weeks (months) as I am STILL unemployed, my goal is to really take this to a new level for the start of summer.  My personal goal from here until I get a job or until the challenge is over is to clock 1080 minutes a week.  That's three hours a day for six days a week.  Now nobody freak out. That is a lot (for me – not for some on this site) but I’m not going to be overtraining.  That’s not really my personality.  I will be mixing things up a lot.  I think it will be pretty evenly split between yoga/pilates/strength training and cardio (running and biking).

Today was a start – my regular 90 minute yoga class, then a 40km (roughly 25 mile) ride on the river trail which took about 110 minutes. (I’m still a little slow from vestiges of the plague)   Total:  200 minutes for today
