angelic ashtanga

wow i would be terrified that she'd fall!!!

Led Ashtanga 730pm with Erica at Yoga Sutra. First class FREEEEE (yay) and they give you a week s-sp-special! This one had some variations in it that I've never come across in my wee, 3 led ashtanga class career. a whole series of postures starting in halasana (plow) where you hold onto your feet and then rock up to balance on your sit bones. I was the only one in the room that could not do this. haha. lets not even talk about my jumpbacks and jumpthroughs. 

The teachers OM sounded like angels! and unlike the other led ashtanga classes, she sang the numbers in sanskrit which sounded pretty neat and it really made much more sense to hear them flow with our flow.

still not really monetarily ready to get my booty to an ashtanga school, but this is good stuff. 

right hamstring made a pop this morning though, felt it all through tonights class. rest tomorrow!!
