Workout

fantastico

IMG_5737.JPG

11am jiva class. I'm staying in chelsea, on the west side and everything I do is on the east side...this means I've suddenly been blowing $ on cabs! made it to M's class with mere seconds to spare.

We chanted Amen, which felt REALLY weird, as I grew up Roman Catholic (wow, this is interesting that religion makes an entrance into a workout blog so naturally). I'm not going to be against chanting Amen because Aum and Amen are from the same roots. They mean the same thing. It just felt funny anyway.

Shoulders/back felt fantastico! Matthew was a little more serious maybe, or maybe just not coming up with the amazing jokes that day. I couldn't imagine being "the funny guy" and then having the pressure of having to be a comedian on TOP of teaching a good class of 80 people. But he does it!!

I've backed off on many of my poses, in an attempt to not hurt myself so much. somehow my headstand entries are not as strong, I think it's an upper back pain thing. I'm hesitating now in the t spine.

Masala Bhangra Party all night!! saw so many of my favorite loveliesssss :)
