It's official, I drank the KoolAid

That's right! I joined Crunch today!!!

killercadoogan gave me an offer I couldn't refuse and I decided to cancel my NYSC (which I haven't been using since I am too obsessed with working out with sassletics to go alone half the time).

Funny thing is, NYSC was kinda douchey about it. I guess it's to be expected but they could have been better liars.

I went in at 6:45 and said "I'd like to see someone about canceling my membership" and they were all like "oh, that's got to be a manager but he just left for lunch." While there were two men in dress clothing just hanging out- BULLSHIT. One of them, Terrence Wilson or Winston or something like that, I am pretty sure was the manager. 

So I got my heart rate up and told them I could wait, "but while I do, can I have the number to membership services?" And I sat right at the door entrance calling Member Services. Then suddenly, man in the other dress shirt with the creepy Brooklyn neck tattoo (the one who originally told me the manager was out) in cryptic script called me over and was all like "I can handle this for you."

When I was asked him how he suddenly could make this happen he told me that someone called the manager, which was funny because it wasn't true. They were hanging out talking about some yoga instructors ass (or at least for comic value that is what I am going with).

Then I sped walked home and even had to take a layer off, while doing so I inadvertently pulled the contract cancellation I had just signed out and the wind carried the payment receipt into the breeze, over a fence and into the lawn of the local projects.

I then had to drop my bag over the fence and climb over all while being harassed by this old lady yelling "Is that a ticket? You gonna win some money??" I ran around the yard for a while dodging broken glass with my bag of eggs since the wind kept picking it up. It was like a bad scene in a Benny Hill Show. But I got it. And I have proof. And New York Sports Club can BITE IT!!

I am finally happy to say I am now part of the cool kids club!!! But can you promise me you won't hurt my baby maker again?
