Back In The Gym.... After The Flu
April is around the time I have to watch out for germs, since my allergies always start kicking in around now and the stress of finals as well. But I got complacent, not keeping my distance around maybe-sick people, staying up late for no reason, not washing my hands with after coming home, etc. So, I got sick. Sick enough to keep me out of the gym for a week and half (oh yeah, I was also miserable the whole time). So imagine my excitement at getting to go to the gym for the first time in 10 days today! I wanted to do more but my shoulders started giving me trouble, so I dropped all the pressing after the circuits.
DB snatch ladder, switching sides, up to 5 reps/side (30#)
3 circuits, 5 reps each: hang clean + press (75#), burpees, lunges (each side), feet-elevated push-ups
2 x 10 deadlifts (195#), air squats, bodyweight rows, squat jumps
