Let's Play Ball!

I purchased an exercise ball and wrongfully titled 'Simply Ball' DVD/book set a couple of years ago.  Since that fateful purchase-day, I merely bounced on, rolled on, and played with that ball basketball-style (dribbling, of course), while that DVD/book set collected its obligatory dust on my bookshelf.  Then, tonight happened!  I grabbed that ball, popped in that DVD, rolled out my yoga mat, and I was ready to do some pilates/ball/stretch/crazy/out-of-my-league exercise.  While I did break a sweat, I'm afraid I also might have broken my 'Simply Ball' spirit.  But then I realized that I needed this routine breakup.  I needed a change, a challenge.  As Sheryl Crow says, "a change will do ya good."  And it did.  I already feel better postured and I do feel a little more strength in places I had forgotten all about.  So, while 'Simply Ball' felt more like 'Hard Ball,' at least I was still, well, playing ball.
