Workout

i finally started my week pass the rockefeller center sports club/LA.  although i had my own workout clothes, i love that they provide them for you if needed.  not only do i love uniforms, i love not having to worry about packing gym clothes everyday.  sometime this week, i will have to take advantage of this great service.

i began my SC/LA experience with transform.  it combines pilates, yoga, ballet, lotti berk, and traditional strength training moves.  the sub seemed to focus mostly on pilates, dance & some intricate upper body work for the tiny muscles you never think about.  loved it!  next, i jumped on a treadmill for speed interval training.  it has been quite a while since i've had access to a treadmill and i forgot how much faster i actually let myself go inside vs. outside.  no, not just because it's harder to go faster outside, but because i feel weird sprinting outside.  i always feel like i look like i'm running from a murderer or like i'm just crazy... big time runner's high kicked in on my walk home.  ahh... :)

30min lunch walk, 60min transform, 45min 1:2 speed training interval run, 20min stretch
