Workout
fried chicken
I'm back home in Texas and I have to say, it's sort of harming my health. I'm eating super irregularly and have really neglected any physical activity. Until today, when I actually unfolded our dusty treadmill! It's been sitting neglected upstairs for three months. Just moving this thing was a workout, and it sucked when I had to fold it all up and move it again because the cord didn't reach the electrical outlet. I only ran a mile, but I was pretty proud of myself because previous to my California adventure I could hardly make it a quarter mile without slowing down.
Then I actually made myself breakfast instead of stuffing down a piece of bread and half an apple (which I sadly did the other day in the middle of a dire hunger pain). I've really got to work on cooking for myself because my body refuses to eat Asian Kitchen instant meals anymore. Which is a good thing!
I finished out the day with some hula hooping while watching top chef. I love my new hoop!! And I loved salivating all over that tasty food while feeling my tummy tone! There was a very interesting commercial from KFC. For every pink bucket of fried chicken purchased, money will be donated to breast cancer research. While I understand that this will rack up huge amounts of money for research, this seems a little strange to me. It's a weird health paradox - eat fried chicken, help cure a serious illness. These are the people who invented the double down!
