Leg Day
Today was a leg heavy day, pairing calf raises with leg presses up to my max on both (well above my max on the leg presses, actually -- once I got above 500 pounds I started doing partials instead). I also did seated military presses, pullover presses, and bent-over rows.
While I was calf raising 720 pounds a guy working with a trainer came over to congratulate me, saying that he'd never seen anyone at the gym lift that much. I think I've seen some other guys doing that on the calf raise, which really isn't that impressive since calves are pretty brutal muscles, but being cheered by a stranger at the gym was a notable experience.
I followed my workout by some jump rope work, chiseling away at the cardio challenge.
