make it or break it!

- oh how i miss gymnastics...
i'm completely addicted! i found this show accidentally on hulu and can't stop watching... pathetic, i know, but for this former gymnast, it's great inspiration/distraction for strength workouts. this show, like these feral challenge feats, transports me back to the age of 7 when i had a little worksheet of check boxes that demanded 10 pull ups each practice and EVERDAY at home: 75 reps each of hand stand push ups, regular push ups, knee push ups, butterfly sit ups and accordion sit ups, as well as minute holds in the splits in all directions. these days, i never train the same muscle groups back-to-back, but with my delayed pull up 'bar' discoveries, i can't take such liberties...
it also made me want to dance. not enough space in my room for leaps, turns and big ballet moves, but a masala bhangra video had just arrived from netflix. it was my first time and it was good.
93 pushups (13 reg, 80 knee), 2 sets pull up static holds (as long as possible, 2Xs each) on railing, masala bhangra video
