Workout
A return to P57 after a break...
How nice was it to look at the blue sky today?!? I just kept looking up to enjoy it's brightness...
Workouts:
7:30-8:30: Ride the Zone: Marion
amazing and sweaty workout. We're killing it with the push ups and side crunches on the bike. And I rode hands free on a climb for two 25 second intervals...it's all core work.
11:30-12:30: Physique 57: it's been awhile. Being busy and running around in the cold has kept me from showing up. Today I went back and I was totally intimadated about returning after a 3-4 week break. The thigh work was torture; I felt so shaky. It was like
nails were being pounded upwards into my quads. The gluets were not so bad, and the
abs were challenging but I was kinda back in the swing of it all by then. It is harder than spinning for me because it is so focussed on one particular muscle group at a time. Painful
but worth every second.
Food Log:
pre-workout: whole wheat toast with 1% cottage cheese
post-workout: 2% Greek yogurt with two tablespoons of organic flaxseeds and strawberries and blueberries.
Lunch: Dark greens with raw artichokes, hearts of palm, and olive oil.
Dinner: salmon tartar with avocado. Two glasses of sancere
water: 3.5 liters
