I Love Hummus and Stair Sprinting

This running class really surprises me.  It's true.  Each class something new and different happens.  Today for instance, both of my ankles KILLED from the first step I took.  Why, one might ask?  I have absolutely no idea other than maybe it was the shoes I wore to work today (and if that's true, well, that blows because my shoe situation is close to my heart).  Also, I learned that I'm a sucker for stair sprinting.  We'd do half a series of some momentum building drill (bull runs, high legs, skipping) straight into the stairs and then sprint (often skipping 2 steps at a time!) to the top.  We spent about 10 or 12 minutes doing this and my heart rate was up and my ankles were hurting and I loved it.  Then we decided to run back around the park and I thought it was torture.

Lesson of the day - sprints are hard but fun, running is still just hard and boring.

Also, sabra hummus is so so delicious.  This was just a refesher course, don't worry, I've learned about the hummus before. Yum.

I like your running class. In my class we just run and then they tell us about proper form and shoes...
