Hot yoga minus the heat...is regular yoga

I went to a new yoga class today.  It was supposed to be a heated vinyasa class but there were no space heaters (one girl told me usually there are).  It was still a great class though.  The instructor was great at giving modifications for each pose to accomodate everyone.  One frustration I'm having lately is that I know and can tell I'm getting a lot stronger, but I'm struggling with the arm balance poses - I still haven't gotten crow pose yet.

Some days it's easier to feel the mind-body connection.  Although I had a great time in class today, today was not one of those days.  It's annoying when your brain wants your body to do something but you just can't!
