Hot Yoga Plus I Completed My DIY Feat!!!

It was between this or a picture of Brandon Lee

During hot yoga tonight, I managed to perform and hold Crow for 30+ seconds.  It was amazing.  I found my balance and just kind of stayed there for what seemed like forever, but was really probably around 45 seconds and I wouldn't be surprised if it went as long as a minute.

I don't know precisely what the actual time was, but I'm 99.99% positive it was longer than 30 seconds because my teacher was talking the whole time I was doing it.  He talked a very long time.  I don't have a video of it like I do the headstand portion of my DIY Feat, but I plan on making one before the end of the challenge just so ya'll can see how it's done.  ;oD

Also, tonight after I got home I did my last two sets of baseline pull-ups to complete that feat as well.  I feel kind of bad as when I started a week or so ago, my baseline was only a paltry one and now my first set when I do them is close to four, but I didn't make the rules; I just follow them.

Apparently this entry didn't like either of the crow pictures I tried to upload.  :o(

Congrats!  I dispair of ever doing Crow or even one pull up.

congratulations!
i will not be creating reactionary crow photos once you make the video, as i can't hold crow.  Maybe urbansherpa will, though :)

Thanks Vajardin!  Don't give up on it!  When I started I was barely able to get one pull-up, but just today I did a set of almost 5.  And Crow?  That one took me forever just to hold it for a second or two, but once I figured it out, it's gotten progressively better.  Don't give up on it!

See Sandy, you only need to hold Crow for as long as it takes to snap a picture and nobody will know the difference.  :oD
