Workout

I involuntarily pumped my fist in spin class.

Very out of character for me, but I was feeling so freaking great it just happened!

After class, Beverly, from the bike next to me, told me I inspired her! This was very sweet; I am not a great spinner by any stretch (I am horrible at the standing runs) but man, do I try. So thank you to Beverly for noticing.

Usually, I reserve my complaints for whining about my ankle (I bet you thought I could make it through a whole post without bringing up the tired old topic of my busted ankle!), but seriously: if you come to a group class, follow the class.

Today's class had all sorts of rogue spinners. If you have to modify, modify...of course. And I know some people are rhythmically challenged. And I shouldn't be focused on what anyone else is doing. But geeeeez, at least pretend you are trying to be a part of the group. Thank god for Amy two rows ahead of me, because everyone around me was on another planet.

Strength & Alignment was great. I love that class.
