DIY Progress

I am now 7 pounds away from achieving my DIY feat and annual goal of hitting 150% of my bodyweight on squats.  I might have been able to do it today, but I figured that there isn't any rush -- if I finish too early, what am I going to do for the rest of the challenge?  I will aim to crush this on Monday or Wednesday next week.

As expected, without princessmichelle's early morning motivation, I didn't make it to the gym until after noon.  I might have made it earlier, but I was out pretty late last night at the Montauk Club sampling a variety of Stout beers and singing Irish drinking songs in an early St. Patrick's Day celebration.

Besides hitting the squats pretty hard, I also did seated military press, bench lying leg raises, pullover press, and FOUR sets of dips, which were by far the most painful exercise today.

In other news, I still have not regained my foursquare mayorship at Crunch Park Slope, which I lost to the execrable "Brian G." the last time I was in San Francisco.  I will not rest until I get it back.
