Sweating out tequila and scotch...ahhh...

Curse you, sangria! Curse you!

I haven't had a biiiig night out in months. Friday cured that. I woke up Saturday morning and smelled like scotch...or maybe it was tequila. Both? It was too late to cancel my private session at Real Pilates, so I dragged myself over to the studio after some whole-wheat fruit pancakes. An hour later, I was starting to feel better, but it was a little touch and go. I went home and curled up on my sofa with a bottle of water where I rested until 4:40 when I realized I had forgotten to cancel my spin bike. I sprinted from Battery Park City to the Chambers Street subway station. Ah! No metrocard! I raced to catch the subway when I realized I had gotten on the train in the wrong direction. Ahhhhh! Luckily, there was an uptown train waiting for me at the next stop. More sprinting from 13th and 7th to 12th and Greenwich. (Ok, not super far, but it was very stressful and involved speeding up 3 flights of stairs.) Phew, I made it with 5 minutes to spare - feeling as if I had already had my workout. This is not how I thought I would get my sprinting time in this month!!!!! Spin was great as usual (even though my body felt like a lead weight at this point in the hangover). I was sad I couldn't stay for yoga, but places to be. ;)
