Workout

(Weekend) Warrior 1

Workout: yoga, cardio, walk home.  And now a long, long walk with the dog.

I got news this morning that I'm an aunt — whoo hoo! — which is what I dedicated today's yoga practice to.  Two surprises this time around: 1) I held a very, very steady crow for a very, very long time, and 2) boat pose didn't kill me today, even with legs fully extended.

I felt like celebrating with a drink after class, so I moseyed on over to the juice bar and got a slim berry protein shake (20 grams of protein) with a banana thrown in.  And then I hit the second floor to do a little A.D.D. cardio.  That's when I commandeer 3 side-by-side machines and switch back and forth between them.

10 minute intervals on the arc trainer
10 minute intervals on elliptical
5 minute intervals on bike
10 minute steady on arc trainer
5 minute steady on bike

I walked 1 mile home catching up on the phone with my family, and now I'm taking the dog out for a long walk to tire her out.  She's a little A.D.D. right now, too =)
