Get my Wednesday wheels SPINNING!

Hey!  I did the 6:15 am spin class with Lisa at Chisel for the second time this week.  So I'm back in the flow and that's good.  We did a lot of speed work, which I hate...but it made me sweat A LOT so that has to be good.  My quads are feeling sort of fierce...just sort of.  Still trying to work off the fifteen pounds I regained.  If I can get rid of that and the five more I need to lose to be at my "goal" weight, then I'll be good.

Also, last night at home I did some dips, squats, push ups and crunches.  I still have a lot to do and I still haven't even tried a pull up.  I'm embarrassed to even try one at the gym since the last time I did one was high school for a fitness test.  However, I Have to do pull ups at the gym because I don't have those resources in my home...lol. 

Anyway, doing well with that and my eating. 

I have a good snack idea that tastes good.. it's sort of like a swap out for "blueberry cheesecake."  What I did was, I took a few tablespoons of cottage cheese and mixed it with Chobani vanilla Greek yogurt, then I topped it with a bunch of blueberries and a teaspoon of honey.  I guess you could leave the honey out if you wanted to cut down on sugar.  Anyway, this doesn't count for the "eating wild" challenge, but it was just a healthy dessert that tasted really good, especially if you're into Italian cheesecake...because the cottage cheese is kind of like ricotta. 

Also, I've been getting fresh squeezed juice in the morning (and coffee) and I absolutely love it.  I just feel good when I drink it and it's got a lot of flavor.  My DYI challenge is to do a juice cleanse for a few days.  I have to wait til the end of the month though because I'm training for the half marathon on March 21st and I've gotta keep eating carbs and hitting the gym til then.  When I do the juice thing for a few days I wanna make sure I have time to not exert myself.
