intenSati to Zumba Combo Platter
Last Saturday's intenSati class, which I'm only writing up now, deserves a full essay. It deserves an epic poem. It was the most crowded class I've ever been in -- there must have been 100 of us in the studio. My back was literally to the wall. It seemed insane, really, before class started to think we'd all be jumping and sweating in moments. But we did. She started us with jumping jacks, to a fiece beat, and the sight of 200 arms crossing overhead in unison was wild. People broke into spontaneous syncopated chants. To say that intenSati is ritualistic and like church, at this point, is unnecessary. There was the sermon, the "peace be with you," the prodding and challenging. And there were the faithful. Now is not the time, but the subject deserves more attention. Suffice to say this: I'm very excited to have Patricia as a Spirit Guide in our Love Challenge.
And so, I almost fainted after class. It was weird, but I was light headed. Managed to crawl, nonetheless into Zumba class, and danced for another hour. Dave K. was in for the program, and we did some pushups and situps after. Totally solid.
