Workout
Workout Disaster!
Is there anything worse than not having music for your workout? I seriously don't understand the TV watchers. I need the beat! And so when I found myself with a dead iPod and a seriously wonky Slacker Radio app (my new absolute favorite thing to listen to at the gym), I considered (literally) throwing in the towel. Luckily, common sense won out: What the F is the point of going to the gym if you don't really work out?
And so: 20 minutes stairmill, 20 minutes stationary bike, approximately.
Still kind of a shitty workout. Bummer!

WTG for sticking it out! I've had a number of "I hate this so much I want to leave right now" moments since starting this challenge, and was always glad I chose to stick it out too! (oh and PS, what I don't get is people who can read & treadmill at the same time. Maybe I just have an unusual amount of spring in my step, but trying to focus on a printed page in 10pt type with all that bouncing up & down? no thanks.)

TRUE! I can't really read on the elliptical, either, unless the resistance is high, and even then, it's a little disorienting. I probably favor the stairmill so much because you CAN read on it. When else am I going to have time to get my Entertainment Weekly fix?
