Workout
8 Month Pout
Well..its been eight months since I last hung out here. I guess I can get over the whole week without caffeine trauma now.
Today was my neighborhood garage sale. I've been biking a lot lately so I strapped a milk crate to the back and headed out for the morning. I was really out 3 hours but I figure at least 2 of it had to be on the bike.
Workout
Day 5 - Alt.Healthy.Fast
Ok..finally got some caf free diet coke today..that helped immensely. But I sat around playing D & D with some friends which is much harder when you can't drink beer!
Workout
Day 3- Alt.Healthy.Fast - Can you actually die from lack of caffeine?
I really had no idea I was this addicted. A little in my coffee (I mix 1/4 caf with 3/4 decaf and brew myself) a couple of diet cokes a day..who knew the hold it had on my head?!?
WW Next Move - Upper Body
I've been doing this workout a couple of times a week..I haven't tried any of the dreaded arm Feats since I started but I'm hoping it will help me get closer.

Weight Watchers Next Move - 5 - 20 minutes workouts

Running in humidity
ssslllooowwss meee dooownnn....
You'd never know I grew up in North Carolina with the way I wilt in the humidity on the rare days we have it here in my part of Texas.
Anyway..ran almost 2 miles..tried to do a timed mile but since I couldn't breathe I limped in at a lousy 10 minutes.
Workout
If you are living right..every day is a workout!
3 hours of laying sod & moving pavers
2+ hours of water volleyball
I love my friends (and my husband, kids & baby brother!) who all worked & played their butts off with me!
Workout
Oww..oww.oow
I flew my youngest brother out from NC to help with some massive yard projects this weekend. Brilliant me decided to do the upper body routine on the WW video I've been using.
Then we made a new planting bed (by hauling and placing a lot of rocks, then mulch) and then laid pavers, moved bricks...you get the picture.

Workout
10am is too late to run in Texas
Because it is hot..very hot!
Tried to do intervals ended up with a lot of walking the last 1/2 mile or so.
35 minutes..run/walk with speed intervals.
Also went to look at new bikes yesterday..took an old bike I had bought from a friend (not the rump-killer I've been riding) and he suggested some parts & took it home to tune-up..I'm very excited now!
Workout
Biking with friends
Did WW Next Move Upper Body weight routing this morning.
Went biking with two friends that I'm doing a ride with this fall. We went right at 10 miles which wasn't hard..but my rear said, "No more!" I'm going to check out a new bike this week.

Workout
Starting very slowly to work on the 1-mile swim
My new pool is 37 feet long so I've calculated I need to do 143 laps (without kicking off!) to do 1 mile. So I'll start slow and work my way up!
30 laps ..only need to add 113!! I'm almost there!

While the water fast sucked more..this one ranked right up there. Although it was very illuminating to me about my caffeine addiction!

That is exactly how I feel. I love some of the other feats but for these two I just feel grumpy..and that is definitely NOT an improvement for me!

I did it! This was hard but at 9pm tonight I broke my 24 hour water fast with a banana and some iced tea (decaf..I'm still on day 6 of alt.healthy.fast).

This sounds good. I'm going to whip up a batch!
One of my favorite breakfasts after a run is 1/4 cup plain, dry oatmeal, 1/2 mashed banana, about 2 Tablespoons chopped walnuts and a dash of cinnamon. Put it all in a bowl and add about 1/3 cup boiling water.

just northeast of Dallas, Texas. Water volleyball was in the pool. It was incredibly fun but I had seriously aching arms the next day!

One of the few I knew I could do easily...wish I could say the same about any feat requiring me to use my arms!

Wow..intimidating and inspiring at the same time. I'm going to give it a shot. If I succeed, I think I'll make me a Supermom cape to wear on Labor Day!
