Up high and down low
Spent a few hours at the gym tonight - the first half spent above the ground rock climbing and then second half spent underwater teaching scuba.

I had such good intentions to workout for a couple hours in the afternoon, since I didn't run in the morning; however, that didn't happen. I will use my friend's desperate need to get to the bars as quickly as possible on her birthday as my excuse, but in all honesty, I didn't feel like being at the gym one bit.
Day 1: Flog
Breakfast:
Fiddler's Green Oat Bran & Rice hot cereal with milk and blueberries
Snacks:
Hard boiled egg
Apple
Lunch:
Pasta with homemade tomato sauce (tomatoes, zucchini, squash, onions, chili pepper)
Fruit mix (pineapple, cantalope, honeydew, grapes)
Snack:
clemintine
protien shake
Dinner: (friend's bday party :))
queso and chips
nachos
cupcake
2 shots of tequilla

These morning runs are a collaboration between my neighbor and I to test the theoretical component of social norms. In order to get us both motivated in the morning my neighbor drives us to her gym and while she works out (30 minute circuit) I run the 3.2 miles home.
Place:
Outside

Run. Socialize. Run.
The best part of my neighborhood are the people in it, who I can visit on my runs. It helps propel me forward to their residence and then after some water and chit-chat it gives me more to think about on my run home. The purpose today was to catch a good friend before she headed to Niger, and of course try to nail down Ocktoberfest plans.
