Monday Night Yoga, Take Two
Went back to the same 75-minute Monday night class and the same problems persisted: a lot of noise from the adjoining rooms, a lot of noise inside my head, including the pretty reasonable complaint that the floor was filthy and that so was the mat.

Tuesday with Cristiaana
After pampering myself with Raw Food in Copenhagen on Monday and Tuesday morning I felt like a proper yoga person and came back for the Tuesday night class before taking the night train up north. Excellent choice.
I've realised the class is often closer to two hours long, but that includes relaxation.

Saturday with Cristiaana
This is just a short catch-up to jot down my workout with Cristiaana last Saturday. I had been terribly ill all week but the yoga actually calmed my stomach rather.
I find I am stronger than I've thought but often forget to breathe.

I got up at 4 AM this morning to make the 5.11 train to Stockholm, and although I slept most of the journey I am still a little impressed with myself for making it to yoga at 7 PM after a full day's work. It was my first visit to SATS Medborgarplatsen, which is closest to my office, and although I'd left my gym card in Scania they were pretty cool about it and let me work out anyway.

Blessings and Yoga on New Year's Eve
The miraculous Cristiaana Sabella offered a noon New Year’s yoga class at the Copenhagen studio and I cut three hours off my drinking to go (a twice-healthy decision). We received personal blessings; mine said “What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul.” The validity of this to my situation is absolute.

Aerobics, lol
Was too tired and wonky on Tuesday (and has first worked, then slept too late) to work out, so I chose an aerobics class on Wednesday instead. Aerobics! It was the closest thing to something dancey on my level. The group had been doing the same choreography for a month though and when the instructor asked whether anyone was new to this type of class I though she meant aerobics in general.

Celebrated my not-yet-but-soon grown-up salary by getting a Platinum membership at SATS sports club and signed up for some random classes.

Jogging and working out
Went for a short jog in Gothenburg. It was painfully cold. Went to the hotel gym instead, got on the bike and watched Skavlan. Played around with the weight machines. Got my hour together just barely.

Lovecraftian forest walk
I walked (mostly stumbled) in the forest for four hours as part of Lovecraft horror game. Maybe best workout this year!

Paying The Prize For Winter Running
Oh, poop. I'm writing this on Sunday; on Wednesday morning I dressed up in my fall running outfit and walked my mother to a conference centre here in Malmö. Her legs are short and her back is achy, and the 15-minute walk took about 25 even though I was helping her with her luggage.
It was cold.
It was so cold.
It was terribly, horrifyingly, gut-clenchingy cold.

I picked out all my weird excercise DVDs to try the all out as part of this project… :D I buy them at sales, then look at them thinking, wtf? This is a great excuse to PROCESS them and figure out which ones I should immediately give to charity!
