thank you, Thursday.
i actually felt like i had time to enjoy a good, hard workout Thursday night. did 45 minutes on the elliptical, then 15 minutes of steep, fast walking on the treadmill. then 15 minutes of weights/abs/stretching.
man, it felt so good to work so hard!!

wednesdays are hot, hot, hot!
had a GREAT 90 minutes in hot yoga Wednesday night. hamstrings, hips, and glutes are xtra sore. YAY!! :)

tuesday snoozeday.
i really wanted a morning workout, but just couldn't get out of bed. so, i settled for a quicky between work and a pumpkin-carving party.
30 minutes on the elliptical.

no music monday...
well, that's a lie. i DID have music for my monday evening spin class....but it was on my iPod shuffle (vs. my normal 80GB iPod that DIED over the weekend...RIP).
so it made teaching my spin class a little more challenging -- with no screen to see the times and/or names of the songs!!
but, we still sweated it out and got a good workout!!

a walk to remember...
before i left Madison, the girls and I took a long walk through the neighborhoods, crunching leaves and chatting about life.
it was so refreshing.

the friend i was visiting is also a cycle instructor, so we went to her class Saturday morning.
60 minutes of pure high-heartrate-lots-of-sweating bliss :)

i've been out of town so gonna play a little catch-up on my workouts from the past week...

motivation? weekend getaway vacation w/ my best friends from college!!

so i've gone ahead and checked my "all-month" feats:
- fast foodless
- no late night snacking
- soda free (cause i don't drink it anyways, but i'm not counting it as one of my 10)
and these week-ones i've accomplished:
- unsweetened
- just water
- caffeine free

made it through another 90 minutes of hot yoga wednesday night. man, it felt like my hamstrings were tighter than ever, though. feel. the. burn. (but i do love the burn).
AND i got to finally meet fellow eat-sweat-blog-er Matty_G_Fresh; who is now a hot-yoga-lover, too!! yay!!

i planned to work-out before work...but my body said "no, i'm tired." so i instead had to squeeze something in between work and my community group that meets at my house at 7pm. so, it was off to the gym for a quick 30 minutes on the eliptical. at-least it was something.

so my weekend was rough...
i didn't work out at all.
went to a tailgate for my college football team (aka consumed mimosas + lots of bread + dairy....)
broke the "no eating after 9pm" sunday night when i went to see "where the wild things are" and got a free popcorn.
oops.
SO...i'm back in the game.

i'm so proud of you!!! and yes, some days the room is hotter than others. (but you're right -- i think a "real" studio would be hotter). i couldn't make this past Monday, so i went tonight...but hope to see you there on a Monday soon!

YES! you could totally do it. ask around at your gym which instructors/classes are better for beginners. but there are always modifications and each participant is so focused on their own movement, so no one will even notice you!
just bring a towel and a big water bottle..you'll be dripping and thirsty! :)
