July goals
Well, I have neglected SW for a pretty long time. Too long. After the school exam season began, and then there was the month and a half of laziness and binge-eating, I gave up on logging and checking in with this site (which I love) because of shame. But it's a new time!
I just did 20 more minutes of Dancing, Pilates, & Aerobics!
I just did 55 more minutes of Cycling, Spinning, & Rowing!
Workout
Good today. Need motivation. Love curry. Love cheese. Went over calorie limit. At least it was sunny.
Yeah, did good today. An hour of spinning (sprints, and the sitting/standing exercises. I don't know the correct term...), 20 pilates, stretching.
I could've went on but I wanted to take the dog for a walk.
I just did 40 more minutes of Running and Walking!
I just did 15 more minutes of Dancing, Pilates, & Aerobics!
I just did 60 more minutes of Cycling, Spinning, & Rowing!
I just did 20 more minutes of Running and Walking!

Volleyball-ed.
So I "worked out" yesterday but I'm not logging it because it was a pretty pathetic one. But today I was planning to sit on my ass all day and watch tv and eat Lindt chocolates because I was defeated by laziness BUT (thank god) my bff called and made me go to the gym. So I went. And it was good. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time today.

Oh em gee.
The gym bore-d me almost to tears today. The spinning was not doing it for me today and no hot guys there to inspire and even other people looked positively bored and miserable at the gym today. Ended up doing 45 minutes of very veryt slow spinning. I tried sprinting in the beginning and gave the f up. I barely broke a sweat :( Layed on the mats and did some ab work and went home.

Spun for forty five minutes and was going for an hour until my mp3 ran out of battery. And so did my energy. Oh, well.
100 crunches.

Oops. I tried to blog this without an Exciting Title and was rejected. Late post!
30 minutes stairmaster (sprints on this thing are killer!)
20 minutes ab work.
I soo wanted an extra 20 minutes at the gym but the gym closes early on a Sunday and I was too busy wasting time earlier during the day. Boo.
But it was so sunny and 16 degrees (!!) in Van so I walked for a good 45 minutes home. Soooo b-e-a-UTIFUL!

Blargh.
20 minutes spinning, my hairtie snapped! I HATE THAT. I have pretty long hair so all I could do was pin back my bangs and keep on going. Then it was sticky and a mess so I gave up. 20 mintues ab work, looked outside, said screw it, and went for a walk instead. Oh, well. It's (well, technically was) Friday!

I was always blown away.
Omg, so it didn't rain like crazy today like it did yesterday, but it was so windy, I was almost blown into traffic. There were a ton of power outages and my neighbor's fence door thing broke. Good God, Vancouver!!!
30 minutes spinning, 10 minutes stairmaster, 7 minutes treadmill
20 minutes pilates.

Welll...I had a few slices of cheesecake this morning and felt guilty the whole day, but this perked me up. Plus I was expecting to be tired from all the sugar but I was totally fine. But still. Cheesecake is still cheese cake. Must, not, make, habit.

Wow, Llaves. you've got one rude coworker. Maybe he/she is just jealous that he/she doesn't have the drive that you have!
And having fun and friends is definitely a good idea for exercise!

A week into the challenge and I just thought of mine now: NO FACEBOOK and useless googling/blog-reading...for the rest of this month (midterms!!!!!). And also, a half hour/day of tv only. I am the queen of wasting time and time is what I need when i am up at three AM working on my midterm paper. Go, me!!

This may sound silly and superficial, but I am juuuust wondering...I was doing my usual forty push-ups (I can now do almost twenty big boy pushups!!!!) and feeling proud of myself when my bff working out with me today told me that I shouldn't do so much of them, because they will make my arms and (already broad) shoulders broad. True? Crazy???? I'm hoping that it's crazy. Normally I wouldn't care but I def don't need bigger shoulders!!!

I also get different calorie counts from different elliptical machines which made me suspicious and I ran into an article a while ago saying that machines are notorious for over-counting calories. Which makes me sad when I see big numbers on the screen :(
But I'm sure the calories burnt number is pretty close to the real number burned.

Haha, I know what you mean! Prior to this site, I thought my gym routine was kick-ass, but now, I am feeling a little left in the dust.
But I'm also trying to step it up and this site is totally motivation. Good luck! :)

I also have to say that most of my friends don't really understand my love for the gym. They think it's insane that I try to go every day so I don't discuss my workouts often and that is why I am LOVING SW! SW is all about working out! Fitness! Health! Challenges! Facebook...nat so much!

Yes! I love the avocado, I usually make guacamole (avocado, a bit of ground cumin, salt, lemon) and have it with multigrain chips,mmmm. Or I blend half an avocado, a bit of soymilk, ice and a bit of honey or sugar after a workout. Yum! Avocados are good though fattening, so I'd say don't eat too much. One a day.

Oops, I misunderstood. I thought the tight black pants were yoga pants, but TIGHTS?! No way do I ever wear tights, I could never look good in them. Some girls look great in them so they can rock 'em if they like. I cannot.

Hahaha, I absolutely love this. I'm a girl and I only wear tight black yoga pants to the gym. First of all, I never wear shorts because I have short legs and they're muscular and I just don't like how I look in shorts and usually I'm not so self-conscious but there are so many mirrors at the gym, it bothers me. I also hate loose clothing. I never wear loose shirts because it gets in the way, somehow... Same for pants. I know that people (the boys) are probably looking, but I don't really mind, I think I look pretty good, and who cares really. I'm already red in the face, sweating buckets, panting, and half dead on that elliptical, so, I don't have much to lose. Love those pants!!!!
