GREAT Monday
Today's practice was amazing. Even though I had a long rough weekend, yesterday was great and I figured today would be average.
But no. I received a great compliment on one of my favorite poses from one of the tougher instructors, which definitely helped boost my confidence for the rest of class. Overall a successful Monday :)

Great day!
Today was a GREAT practice for me! I'm so happy that even though I took two days off and was certain today was going to be so rough, that it ended up being the best practice I've had in awhile. Everyone in the class was a veteran and the energy was amazing. I'd love for every single class to be like today's, I felt like I could accomplish anything.

One-fourth!
On this 8th day of October I am on my 5th workout of 20. Today was GREAT. We had our monthly office happy hour and I had a few sips of beer so I almost decided to skip yoga for the day... but I got home, got dressed and headed out. When I figured out who would be teaching the class--one of the notoriously hard instructors--again, I almost left.

Wednesday for the win!
So my fourth workout of the month felt amazing. I was able to do some of the poses I've been avoiding because of my shoulder and the class was very upbeat and positive. The normal yogis were nowhere to be seen and around the room I saw a lot of faces I haven't noticed before...

Ugh!
Last night's practice was rough. I still have the tendinitis in my right shoulder and yesterday got a flu shot in my left arm... Both arms ached termendously.
Double it with the seemingly above normal humidity level and inability of the instructor to properly regulate humidity and heat and it was an extremely long, rough class for me.
I hope tonight is better... on to class 4!

Workout Numero Dos
So today was the second workout of October. I felt guilty taking a whole three days off, but boy did it feel good to get back into it!
My shoulder isn't completely healed yet, but it feels so much better. I only had to skip bow pose today (and probably it was mostly psychological). I felt great and did the entire 90 minutes, although to be honest at times it was a little rough.

And so it begins...
First day of the challenge and despite my injured shoulder, I went ahead and went to yoga, figuring that the past 24 hrs of ice/heat and meds to reduce the swelling would help.
