Dance Workout - fun!
So I got bored and tried a belly dance workout routine off youtube, and surprisingly, it wasn't bad. It was great cardio and especially good on my calf muscles, which I think don't get as much focus as thighs and glutes in most workout routines. It was half an hour total and I'm actually inclined to buy a workout video now.

* Crunches - elbow to knee; 20 reps, 2 sets
* Sit-ups with knees up and bent; 20 reps, 2 sets
* 2 sets of 25 bicycles
* Elbow crunches; 15 reps, 2 sets
* Bosu ball crunches; 15 reps, 2 sets
* Knees to chin on bench; 20 reps, 2 sets
* Bicep curls on exercise ball; 15 reps each arm, 2 sets (8lb weights)

Did pretty good today:
* 30 second planks on exercise ball; 2 sets
* Planks on exercise ball (roll arms out, bring back in toward chest while still balancing on the ball in a plank position); 10 reps, 2 sets
* Crunches with exercise ball (hold between feet; stretch out, crunch and switch to hands; stretch out, repeat); 20 reps, 2 sets

Upper body workout
I was recovering from Saturday's bootcamp, so my trainer focused on abs and upper-body rather than my poor, defeated thighs.
* 5 minutes on the rowing machine, trying to keep it between 650-700 cal/hr
* 10 lifts on evil machine where you hold yourself up by your arms and bring your legs out straight in front of you in an "L" shape. Couldn't manage more than that.

This was a boot camp class led by my trainer at Gold's gym:
* Warm-up stretches
* Heel kicks and jumping jacks
* Jump squats, bench squats (raise yourself up on one leg from a seated position without letting the other foot touch the ground); 15 reps, 6 sets
* Lunges on Bosu ball; 10 reps, 2 sets
* Shoulder presses on balance ball with one leg out; 15 reps, 4 sets
