Workout
Feelin' Guilty
So, I feel bad that I didn't workout yesterday, so I tried to make up for it a bit by doing an hour on the treadmill.
Very Tired...
I am beat, so I am just going to get right to it.
On Track for Just Water feat, first smoothie this morning, another day of little to no gluten and food log on track as well.
BF: Raspberry Peach Soy Smoothie
Lunch: Turkey Dogs
Dinner: Spinach Salad with pepperoni and blue cheese (I know it has some gluten)
Gluten Gluten Everywhere and Not a Drop I Can Eat
So, I recant, sugar free was simple compared to Gluten-Free. Thank God I don't have an allergy to the stuff, because this is downright challenging. Today was day one and I was paranoid to eat! Plus my local grocer doesn't really give a damn if you have a food allergy. So, to summarize how I did today:
Workout
Feelin' Icky
Didn't feel wonderful today and had to deal with a couple of random issues so it's a miracle I got in 40 minutes on the treadmill.
Workout
Getting Stronger
Worked out today, gym for strength training and 20 minutes on the elliptical.
Unsweetened: Update
Okay, so the past week, I have been conquering the Unsweetened feat.
Good lord, this was rough.
I'm not a smoker, but I assume quitting cigarettes must feel something like this. So let's go back in time and discuss.
Workout
Lots of Additions
Haven't posted in a couple of days, but I have been doing what I am supposed to be. So, spent a few minutes tonight updating. Today 45 minutes on the treadmill. All uphill.
Workout
More of the Same
Since the gym is closed, just did 30 uphill minutes on the treadmill.
Workout
Back on Track...
Took yesterday off, because of a variety of reasons I will explain in another post, but used the treadmill today and did 45 minutes uphill.

Back on Track...
Took yesterday off, because of a variety of reasons I will explain in another post, but used the treadmill today and did 45 minutes uphill.
Workout
Physically Weak
So, I went ahead and converted my lunch hour into a gym trip. It's strength training day! So the deal is, I am weak...really, really weak. Like it's a miracle I can lift a gallon of milk. I did my normal strength training routine: elliptical to warm-up and then the nautilus machines at 25 pounds. And man alive, 25 pounds is kicking my butt.
Workout
Consistency?
Short and sweet: 30 minutes on the treadmill at an incline.
Workout
Awesome
So, it started with a failure. My best intentions to get up early and hit the gym ended with 4 snooze button presses.
: (
But after a healthy breakfast, I decided to kill two birds with one stone. So I packed a lunch (one brown bag down!) and my gym clothes for a working out lunch.
Workout
Much Better
Okay, after yesterdays sad little 20 minutes, today I did a far more respectable 45 minutes on the treadmill all uphill. Worked up a decent sweat, felt a nice little burn.
Now, the real challenge is can I get up tomorrow morning and go to the gym for strength training.
I'm going to try really really hard...

This was actually really inspiring to read. With me it's mainly work that is a time thief and the problem is I use that as an excuse to do whatever. So it's all about focus and committing.
My tips for sugar free week:
Have fruit on hand for your sweet cravings. And the opposite, keep sweets and high sugar items off the premises.
READ LABELS, amazing how many deceptive foods are out there (word on the dried fruit!) I noticed this week that freakin' Cocoa Puffs has less sugar than Raisin Bran Crunch (almost half)
Since your cutting sweet out, eat hearty flavorful things. You'll really miss sugar when you are eating bland stuff
My lifesavers for the week:
Omelets and whole grain toast (filling and sugar free), Boca Burgers with blue cheese, fish and lots of fruit!
