Workout
Die-hard stair-machine girl
I wondered if getting a proper warm-up would help me get through the Weight Loss setting on the stair machine without needing to turn down the level. Turns out, it did! I warmed up for 5 minutes, then worked it for 30, then cooled down for 5, then did some calisthenics (including forearm curls) for 10. Planning to pour some flax over my yogurt for an afternoon snack to complet

Progress Report
Biggest Loser weigh in last night: down another .8 pounds. Hey, I am consistent, and I really would not consider what I am doing to be dieting. Just a few small changes. I am happy and my body is happy.
Workout
Stair climbing with the Ladies of the View
I watched "The View" and used the stair machine for 30 minutes on the Weight Loss program (I had to take the set level down one notch in the middle). Then I cooled down for 5 minutes and did 20 minutes of pilates for my hamstrings.

Expresso Bikes!
My gym got Expresso Bikes! They're supercool virtual reality stationary bikes that you can steer! It was like being at an arcade. I did the Fruitdale and Expressway courses in about 25 mins. Then I cooled down for 5 mins and did 3 sets of 3 different back exercises. And I bought crazy expensive blueberries at the corner store. The little pack was $7.49 (!!!!@
Workout
Cop-out work-out
I don't know why I keep thinking I can get a workout by walking . . . Today I tried 45 minutes at 4.0 mph, adjusting incline up and down, max incline was 4.5. Barely broke a sweat . . . I'm going to have to step up (har har) my walking workouts if I want to be able to count them!

Two week feats down!
I was so excited to finish my Caffeine-Free feat yesterday and start enjoying my morning cup of Joe again, but then I remembered that week 3 is Just Water. Bummer. At least I can go back to eating chocolate! I'm not worried about the amount of water I have to consume this week, just the exclusivity of it.
Workout
Sun Salutations and a Black Bean Hot Dog
Couldn't make it to the gym today, but I walked 3 city miles briskly. I know it's a little lame, but I'm counting it. I did two sets of 15 chest presses with 10 lb hand weights and I did 6 sun salutations. Then I cooked up a spicy black bean dip from a dehydrated mix I had in the pantry and added some leftover kale from two SW-e-AT days ago. Served it up on a hot dog bun and voila - dinner!
Workout
jogging up hills with the ladies of The View
Determined to make a 30-min jog on the treadmill's hill program (level 10) more doable, I reduced my speed to 5.0 mph. Still challenging, but I got through it. Then I cooled down for 5 mins, did 30 tricep dips, and stretched.
My "Biggest Loser" weigh-in took me down 0.4 pounds from last week. Totally happy with that. I think it's the wagon that's making me feel better and a little lighter!

Workout
eyeball time
30 mins stair stepper, weight loss setting; 5 mins cool down. Worked my eyeballs for my SW-e-AT challenge, and made the orechiette with kale and sausage recipe!

Workout
Dance Audition
Last night I was dancing under scrutiny for an hour. The routines were not super challenging, but the audition setting helped to get my heart rate up! And my calves were definitely sore when I got home from all the twirling on tiptoes!

Workout
Climbing Stairs with Anderson and Kelly
Got in some good morning show tv time on the stair machine. 30 mins heart rate program (goal heart rate: 155 bpm). This got really hard in the last 10 minutes because the machine stopped reading my heart rate! 3 mins warm up, 5 mins cool down, 5 mins strength moves until I realized I was super late and bolted to the bathroom for world's fasted shower.

I was just about to post my "Off the Wagon" entry as well. Once we've failed, do we really have to get back on again?
