Workout
Workout Buddy was on time today -- clearly a Feat of Summer!
We did abs before cardio (75min). Have decided to try 2/3s of my own personal triathlon tomorrow -- swimming and running. Trying to push my own limits before goals are set for Feats of Summer and if the workout buddy can be on time then it seems anything is possible.

That is going to hurt in the morning
Weights. Lots of weights. Free. Machines. Pretty happy though. Have been making good progress with increasing the weight I'm using.

Thanks Social Workout Challenge: May Edition
Not that I don't want a prize (totally do!!) ... but I kind of already feel like I got one.
I wore a tank top in public on Sat and did not once think that my arms were too fat.
Priceless.

The challenge continues
May is over, but the working out and the challenges it brings continue...
1. The last 30 days convinced me to do more weight training, but not to love it ;
2. I managed to do one workout at home, but the weights have still never been opened;
3. My workout buddy still doesn't show up sometime. My challenge is to know how long to wait before just starting without him.

OMG I did it!!
This refers not just to the 26 workouts, but to the fact that I FINALLY used one of the many home workout tools that I've bought over the years. I just did yoga in my living room with the set and DVD I purchased in March. Ridiculous but true. This was a goal I set in April. Will skip over the self-berating and just be happy that I accomplished it. Go me!!
Workout
Penultimate Workout!!!
Glad that I did not use many off days at the beginning of the month because I've been burning through them this week.
Today was 2 great long walks. And a serious sweat worked up gardening. Thought I would get to yoga at home, but alas, did not happen.
Finishing the month with a run tomorrow. And have started some reflections on the experience.

Yet another Crunch tried
The workout buddy and I were members of the 25 B'way Crunch that closed at the beginning of the month. We have been Crunch nomads this month. Today we went to the branch on 83d. Best air conditioning of any gym ever and otherwise a decent workout space.
45 minutes cross-ramp
45 minutes abs, free weights etc.
Place:
Crunch - 83rd Street
Workout
Promenade at Sunset
Forgot to post this when I got home last night...
After missing my a.m. workout, I went for a really great long walk at sunset. I was so engrossed in the lovely evening I did not notice that I was really keeping up my pace, but felt it in my quads when I got home. Bonus.

Running revisited
It has been about a week since last I ran. I did not get nearly enough sleep last night to function let alone run, but I gutted it out with a song's worth of walking at the half way mark. Trying again tomorrow to get some momentum back.

I have the Lug Puddle Jumper Overnight / Gym Bag in fog gray and I love it. It is a great shape for a gym locker and for fitting under the seat in front of my on the plane. Separate sneaker pocket; lots of compartments...I can ofter get the rest of my stuff for the day in it so that I'm not carrying more than 1 bag. Really, a 10 out of 10.

Love the new format! Should we change/update posts to get counts right or is that going to be adjusted? I have 2 workouts pre-"workout post" capability that aren't counted in my total? Not the biggest deal, but... Thanks!

I was there yesterday too and they did not tell me anything even though I noticed that some of the equipment from the 1st floor was gone. I figured they were moving it because it was too hot up there last week when the weather warmed up.
Did you go to 90 John? If not, FYI it is a former Golds and there were no Crunch signs even on the place this a.m. And it is smaller and hotter and more crowded. NOT GOOD.

Was just going to post to ask what sports bras would folks recommend when I saw your post. How timely! Thanks for the review.

There is a Twitter called Twitercize and it sends texts about stretches and 1 minute or less exercises periodically throughout the day. Or you can just look them up on Twitter when you feel like doing one. They are easy to do in the office etc.

So timely! I forgot my goggles this a.m. for my swim because I did not pack last night before I went to bed. I usually do, but figured I'd be able to wing it this a.m. How wrong I was and my red eyes prove it!
