Week 9, Workout 2: Listen to your body...it might want to do more!
I was so excited to come in and catch up on my last two C25K workouts and contribute them to the Million Minute Month and I see we made it! So that's a third thing to be excited about.
Workout
Moving on through!
This morning I finished Week 8 of Couch-to-5K and I have to say that it was my best one yet. I was giving myself a hard time because I have had such an on/off relationship with the program, but plugging along has definitely paid off. I keep doing intervals, but I jogged at a faster pace and picked it up to a run for more time than usual. I'm only jogging about 2.5 miles, so I'

Back on the C25K journey!
I got myself back on the treadmill today which was the first time in awhile. I picked up where I left off with C25K instead of rolling back because my strength and energy have been good. I could definitely tell that my cardio has been less intense and less weight bearing, since it wasn't so easy, but I'm glad to be moving forward.
Workout
Another Monday.
I wish I could be more enthusiastic about another Monday at the gym. It was an overall decent workout - 20 minutes bike/25 minutes upper body weights/20 minute walk. My energy was flagging a bit and my legs are still sore from Friday, so I think I'm going to give myself a pass for tomorrow if I don't feel better. It's always a good idea to listen to the body.
Workout
Active Rest
Another yoga class - this was my decompress and relax yoga class that I love love love. It didn't disappoint. Also, we got a break from the heat in the form of rain right when our shivasana started which was so relaxing and blissful. A great way to end the weekend!

Workout
Bonus Vinyasa
Now I'm finally caught up today - -another bonus day. Rather than hop on the elliptical for a long slow burn, I hit up Yoga People and took a Vinyasa class this morning. It was HOT out and it felt a lot like Bikram in that room for the first half.

Workout
Work Those Legs
I switched things up and used the leg routine again from the Shape LBD app. I hadn't done this one before and it worked me out as promised. Tired and sore, but feeling good. Also did 20 minutes on the elliptical and a walk with the pup.
Workout
Whole Body to Half Body
Another day of weightlifting and cardio mix. I focused on the upper body today using the Shape Little Black Dress Arm workout. I really like the sequence of exercises and I definitely feel like I can see action going on in my shoulders which is encouraging. I also saw great effects from the last three weeks of exercise.
Workout
Starting to Move, Keeping It Going
I've been doing about 3-4 workouts a week recently and I'm starting to step it up a notch. Today I did a 5 minute warm up and 30 minute weight circuit 1 exercise per body part. Then hopped on a bike for 25 minutes and walked the dog to cool down.

And probably lo-gloo, but I haven't been able to access the page, so I don't know what I'm getting myself into with that one. Although I can guess :)

I still can't check out Lo-Gloo and I'm very curious. This might be a good one for me if I only knew what it was! :)
