Feats Completed
Just to wet the spiritual appetite!
We're here at Social Workout HQ late on Friday evening. I'm Big O, the guy they drag out when they want to test things. I'm more of an alter identity, than a real person, but I do have feelings. Anyway, I'm not accomplishing a feat now. I just wanted to say hi, and wish you lot's of enouragements and love.

Exciting New Feature!
You were running at sunset, and the sky was heartbreakingly beautiful. Strangely, you had your camera with you, and you snapped a shot which you'd sort of like to add to your latest workout post. OR, you snuck your camera-phone into, say, the Greenwich Ave. Equinox, and snapped a pic of their oddly small new boxing room.

Priceless
A very large dolphin hangs over the central indoor swimming pool pavilion at the Royal Palace. The installation is not unlike the great Blue Whale at the Museum of Natural History; and, frankly, for the gringo visiting Sheepshead Bay from Manhattan, visiting the Royal Palace is alot like a visit to the museum.
Booze and Self-Loathing
The two gin and tonics were unnecessary, as was buying a round for the gang. My ears were ringing at 2AM, and the radical Republican, ex-McCain intern 23-year old from North Dakota was offering me a sip of her Vodka Cranberry, for which I paid. I regret it all, but will push on up this hill.
Locker Room Cliques
Out in Brooklyn, my friend Laura assures me, there is a NYSC outpost where the 40-something woman hang out in the locker room. They gossip, and they hold court. Fair enough, but it seems they've become unreasonably proprietary about their space. Should another member be so dim as to use a locker that one of the woman uses regularly, well, that's not cool.
