back to the east coast morning yoga
returned back east on monday and did a little yoga session in the early morning tuesday hours to welcome myself home and get myself back to the grind with ease and good energy...

san francisco run!
traveled to the west side. northern california stylie! and ran through san francisco neighborhoods, under the golden gate and enjoyed spectacular views with a dear far away friend. oh to explore other cities via a run full of sweat, cool breezes and warm sun.

a leisurely long saturday 3 -4 mile run with a dear friend through a rainy riverside park.

at the gym that early thursday morning before work - on the bike for ~45 minutes - news on the tv highlighting FREE THE HIKERS! please check out www.freethehikers.org

i do not yet have a bike. i want one. have wanted one for some time now. not to transport myself around the city but to take lovely long bike rides. and to train for and do a triathalon. til then, i'm on the bikes at the gym. some bike, some weight training, some abs. a good way to celebrate indigenous people day.

i heart riverside park. especially on a crisp october day. sometimes i pretend that i'm in one of those new yorker prints where san francisco is just across the hudson. oh daydreaming while running. what a way to spend 45 minutes. lovely.

run before the rain
some folks get bogged down by the cold seasons creeping in or not-so-sunny-days. i'm not one of those folks. loved waking up this morning to find a peaceful greyish day. went for a ~3 mile run and felt comforted by the cool air. rain drops came down just as i approached my door. a sweet way to start a friday.

10.07 - a windy day at the gym
once again, had to get the gym visit in. that monthly payment really helps me add weight training and varied cardio stuff to the running love. i really do enjoy the gym even if i do mention the money i pay as an incentive. i just really love the outdoors more. but anyway. got there around 4.45 pm yesterday and it wasn't too crowded which made me happy.

saturday 10.03: to the gym
i love the outside. i love running outside. it's always preferred. but i have a gym membership. so i have to change it up and add the gym visit to the repertoire. went to the gym this morning post friend's birthday party pre-off to a wedding. some stretching, efx machine (really the only machine my heart belongs to at the gym), more stretching. all good.

i dig bringing my lunch to work every day. not only do i brown bag lunch, i brown bag breakfast, snacks, dinner if i'm working late, and coffee of course. in fact, i spend quite a bit of time organizing, preparing and enjoying packing it all up the nite before. totally satisfying. and happily healthy and green.
