What's better than a bike ride? A costumed bike ride!
With many apologies to the poor folks in cars who we slowed down after an already bay-bridgeless pain in the ass commute week, critical mass was a pile of fun. Everyone gets into the halloween spirit and it's great to see all the creativity that SF has. The boy and I pulled together a pretty awesome miss piggy costume for him and I turned my helmet into a kermit head.
Workout
almost caught up
Another round of random kettlbell work, including practicing my cleans. They still need a lot of work. Worked from home, but still had the left over soup for lunch - saving the walk to lunch for a trip to go get halloween costume parts.
Workout

Yay for food logging even when you aren't 100% proud of what you've eaten - far better than pretending you didn't eat them. And wow those do look amazing.

it's embrace the first set of beer calories...but then maybe not the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round of beer calories. now to embrace this moderation policy this weekend.

Wakeup was around 11:30. Breakfast was around 1:00 and dinner was around 8:00. Sure I could have eaten lunch, but you know what, I wasn't hungry. Eating regularly is great, but if you're not hungry, then forcing something down your throat is just unnecessary unless you're fueling yourself for a serious 1000+ calorie burn. And while Sunday's calories may be a little on the low side - I was definitely coming off a calorie surplus on Friday and Saturday - there's a reason my body wasn't hungry and it's important to listen to that.
Thanks butwhatifido for kudos.
And really, I was expecting to get a tsk tsk for the weekend of lush that was last weekend.

I second the garlic & olive oil. or a little bit of toasted sesame seed oil. It's also pretty tasty in a curry, or just steamed and served with a bit of shaved parmesan.
