so i took the entire month of march and a good chunk of april off from going to the gym.
then on monday i went to a dress fitting - nothing to send you running towards an elliptical like changing in front of strangers and feeling like a giant cupcake.

so i took the entire month of march and a good chunk of april off from going to the gym.
then on monday i went to a dress fitting - nothing to send you running towards an elliptical like changing in front of strangers and feeling like a giant cupcake.
Workout
this is getting nuts
another walk to and from work - less snow this time but still a good three miles at a decent clip considering the conditions. also fit in some good stretches and some lunges and squats at work because my legs didnt feel enough like jelly.
Workout
shovel this.
monday was my birthday. i attempted to walk to work and the snow was just too deep then i got word there were only two people in the office so i gave up. shoveled more and walked around our strip district trying to find anywhere open to "celebrate" my birthday.
not really the day i had planned.
Workout
so tired of snow
another three miles in two feet to get to & from work. gyms been closed for days - puppy wont allow me the space to do a workout video. did a little sledding as well...sweet jesus giant hill.
Workout
snooooooow.
walking through two feet of snow to get to and from work. thats about four miles. plus some dog walking, snow shoveling & one 1000s. im spent.
Workout
blizzard part deux
work was cancelled AGAIN. normally this would be awesome but im paid hourly so now im extra broke!
spent the morning under several blankets without electricity (so not heat, hot water, nada) catching up on some reading then ventured out for more shoveling and dog walking.
Workout
friday yoga
the only problem with the beginners yoga class im taking is thats its friday afternoon. so while its nice to take a really long lunch break and walk to the gym for an hour of uber low key yoga with my favorite guy - it means after all that relaxing and breathing and giggling at the boy i have to come back to work.
drag to the max.

honestly blizzard helped with this by knocking out the power. but that was only for a day - decided to do two in a row just to see if i could without my fiance and i killing one another with cabin fever and boredom. i cant suggest you try it.

this actually wasnt that bad. didnt realize that most of the stuff i eat is low or no sugar to begin with. did miss out on TWO office birthday celebrations which is for the better im sure. only thing i really missed was my vanilla for my coffee. i used to drink it black no problems but the older ive gotten it was milk then soy milk then milk with vanilla. keeps becoming less & less about the coffee

i had been trying to convince my guy to turn our guest room into the tv/workout room for a while & i finally did! im not a huge fan of attempting to shred and balance on a giant ball for all my neighbors to see. so now i have just enough space upstairs, away from nosey neighbors for a yoga mat and my ball so i can one 1000s and wii fit to my hearts content.

ive cooked breakfast, lunch & dinner every day since the start. ive even managed to make enough so that the boy can take lunch to work everyday too. so good. but also totally need to go to the grocery store more often. the things we had put up for winter (soups and such) are almost gone.

she was featured on the local news and a girl i see at the gym fairly often was talking about her. and she seemed in our initial emails & phone calls to be a good solution to help push me through the wall ive hit.
yup cauliflower is way too much sugar and starch according to her.
shes not really one for understanding the concepts of seasonal, local eating. and when i tried to explain that the bulk of her suggested foods would never come into my house due to their pre-packaged ridiculousness and that i bake my own bread, dont do canned soups and that "smart dogs" are not a food i dare to eat. her response was to say that all of that seems too difficult and that thats exactly the reason i am overweight.

yes, yes and yes. the boyfriend moved in which upped the junk food in my house exponentially! i had been steadily loosing weight - i was down 88 pounds when he moved in. his weight dropped because he started eating my home cooked, healthy, vegetarian food & packing his lunch. he drops 20 pounds and i gain 20 back. WTF! boyfriend became the fiancee and now i have a wedding nine months away - at a total loss.
