30 min. Kickboxing, Pecs and Shoulders with weights

Saturday mornings bring to mind all kinds of nice things...sleeping in, making breakfast without having to rush, enjoying the weather, planning the weekend. This Saturday morning I hit the ground running and worked out before doing any of those things. I ran a mile on the treadmill and then hit the weights focusing on my back. Good times!

Vacation Hike
I was on vacation all weekend. Went to SF to visit my best friend. I knew I'd get a lot of walking in but I wasn't sure about getting a workout in. Turns out I got to go hiking in the most beautiful woods. It was so green and the trees were so tall. Big change from the desert.

Quick Post
Quick post, quick workout. I had to fit it in or it wasn't going to happen so I did a 15 minute warmup, hamstring curls, deadlifts, calf raises, and a quick cooldown.

Focused on cardio today so I hit the elliptical machine for an hour. I still had energy so I did my ab workout and then when I got home I felt like playing so I also did the ab routine on my Wii. I am going to sleep so good tonight!

Lunch Time!
Had a great workout at lunch today (and it kept me from eating out). I did a warmup on the elliptical and then hit the weights hard (pecs and triceps).

And We're Walking
I'm having a little issue with my big toe really hurting on my right foot so instead of my usual run and I went for a really careful brisk walk today for about 40 minutes. It was a beautiful day out, almost 60 degrees and sunny, so it was a great day to get outside.

Monday Blues
I almost talked myself out of working out today but in the end the gym won out and I had a pretty great workout...half hour on the elliptical...another half hour working on quads and glutes, lots of squats!

I have a plant at work and a bunch of plants at home so I went ahead and added a few more and then gave the ones I already had some extra attention. Love this feat! It makes such a big difference.

So far what is working for me is setting a calendar appointment with myself for 5 minutes every hour. A little alert pops up on my computer screen when I have an appointment so I can't miss it. Don't know if that will work for you. Good luck!

I love it! I read the book when it first came out and thought it was surprisingly good. Glad other people liked it too!!
