Prema means Divine Love in Sanskrit. What better name to describe a sparkling little star in Brooklyn could there be? This Yoga studio is Brooklyns answer to the call for authenticity in your Yoga practice. The studio is located in the parlour room of a turn of the century townhouse. The intricately carved wood (walnut?) floor to very-high-ceiling window frames and marble fireplace-turned-alter create a perfect mood. Antique sari's became jewel-colored curtains. Pink crystal chandeliers catch the glint in your eye as you glance up towards the sky during Urdva Hastasanas and Trikonasas. The community of Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill and neighbors come here with a precious dedication to their practice.
